An Afternoon of Basketball and Fellowship
We are excited to invite all youth in 6th-12th grade to join us for Basketball and Beyond on Sunday, April 13 from 5:00-5:50 PM at the Community Center. This special hour offers the perfect blend of physical activity, teamwork development, and positive social connection in a safe, inclusive environment. No registration required—just show up ready to play!
Expert Coaching, All Skill Levels Welcome
The program will be led by two exceptional mentors: Robert Miner, CUMC member and longtime youth coach, alongside Matthew Goebel, Clarkston Community Schools teacher, coach, and leader at Calvary Lutheran Church. Whether you're a seasoned basketball player or just looking to have fun, all skill levels are welcome. Players should wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes, and are encouraged to bring friends!
Making a Difference Together
Basketball and Beyond isn't just about sport—it's about giving back too. Participants are invited to bring a nonperishable food item for the CUMC Food Pantry to help support local families in need. This simple act of kindness extends the teamwork from the court into our broader community.
