Middle School Students
Middle School Youth group, or FUEL as it is called at CUMC, will continue to be led by Michele Ettinger and a team of wonderful caring adult counselors; Amy Krause, Shelby Ettinger, Brian Pospy, Nathan Majiros and Ryan Guzal. Youth Group is held on Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. At CUMC we continue to be intentionally invitational by offering a variety of youth events that make it easy for our youth to invite friends including a Halloween party and youth Thanksgiving meal. Sunday evenings will have a mixture of pure fun and meaningful opportunities. Our youth will get to meet our pastors, explore what it means to be Methodist, participate in team building and community events such as a corn maze and Escape room, as well as discuss topics that face our teens in their daily life.
Families are asked to fill out the universal registration form for their entire family as well as the health and transportation form for their youth. We would appreciate all forms to be turned in to the church by September 10th if possible. Please follow the links attached to access the forms or you can request the forms at the church. Thank you for helping us to keep out records current and accurate!
Sunday School program for our 6th and 7th graders. Studio 67 is upstairs in our education wing for the 2017-18 year. Our 6th and 7th graders will be provided with a light breakfast at both 9:00 and 11:00 am as they are led by some wonderful teachers through the Submerge curriculum from Cokesbury. Throughout the year our youth will be encouraged to join in worship for family services, such as 2nd grade Bible Sunday, Wesley Musical, Confirmation Sunday and Graduation Sunday. Join us on Sunday mornings for a great adventure as we learn, celebrate and worship together.
Breakfast in the Balcony is back by popular demand at both the 9:00 and 11:00 am services each Sunday. 8th through 12th graders are invited to sit together in the church balcony to enjoy worship together. A continental breakfast will be provided at the 9:00 am service and a warm breakfast will be provided at the 11:00 am service. Adult volunteers who wish to help set up, prepare food, clean up and/or would like to sit with our youth on a regular basis in the balcony please contact me at email@example.com. We would love your help and welcome your participation. *Please note that monetary donations for Sunday morning children and youth breakfasts are greatly appreciated but are not necessary. If you are able and wish to contribute to the breakfast fund please submit your donation to the office, noting your contribution to the Sunday morning children and youth breakfast fund. Thank you in advance!
