Sunday School

Our mission: To vitally connect children to children, and children to God.

Summer Sunday School begins June 21st. Like last year, Summer Sunday school will be available at the 10 am hour only. Nursery (infant-3 years) will be available at both 8:30 & 10am. New this year is the age/format of Summer Sunday school. It will be a One Room program for children ages 4 years thru those who have completed 1st grade. Children 3 years and under may go to the nursery. Children who have already completed 2nd grade or higher will attend worship service. These children are encouraged to bring their bibles and listen to the sermon. There will be quiet activities and hand-outs with questions for them each week pertaining to the worship service. (Hint, hint: There may even be a reward from Mrs. Siminski for answering the weekly questions!)

Sunday School (during school year) is offered at 9 & 11:15AM. We utilize the Live BIG (Belief In God) curriculum. A monthly theme is reinforced through a bible verse, a variety of bible stories, and many hands-on activities such as crafts, music, drama, cooking, role-playing, and games. Children build life-long relationships with one another and the Sunday school volunteers.

All Sunday School children start out their morning initially gathered in Children’s Church. Children learn the basics of worship, including scripture reading, praying, tithing and the doxology, responsive readings, and a weekly message. After church, the children are dismissed to their classrooms for their Live BIG lesson.

The Live BIG classes are divided into age groups:
3-4 year olds (must be 3 by September 1st and potty trained) in Room #203

Kindergarten-1st grade in Room #204

2nd-3rd grades in Room #205

4th-6th grades in Room#206 A.K.A. “Lounge 456” (includes a light breakfast each Sunday)

Please fill out a Sunday School registration form for your children and return to church prior to Sunday school on September 7th.

Angels in Training, a children’s mission program is offered every Sunday at 10:10am. The children learn the true meaning of being disciples as they work on mission and service projects locally and internationally. Children ages 4 years-6th grade are welcome!
