Beliefs: CUMC is in many ways a "community church". It attracts members of varied denominational backgrounds, thus providing a theologically diverse congregation. Our continued challenge is to create strength from diversity by encouraging personal and congregational response to God's calling.

CUMC embraces a strong commitment toward community outreach and missions spanning all committees of the church. Examples include annual youth based Righteous Mission, Angels in Training for elementary youth, Stephen Ministry, congregational support of Lighthouse, the Haven and Baldwin Soup Kitchen, blood drives and much more.
